WARRANTY COVERAGE (WHAT YOUR WARRANTY COVERS)
Home Direct Blinds warrants to the original purchaser that custom window coverings, roller screens, blackout shades, motorized shades (including motors), and the labor/installation provided by Home Direct Blinds will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use for five (5) years from the date of installation.
During the 5-year warranty period we will, at our option:
- Repair or replace any defective product components (including motors) found to be defective due to materials or workmanship
- Repair or reperform installation work that is defective due to our workmanship
MOTORS & ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS
Motors and factory electrical components supplied by Home Direct Blinds are covered for five (5) years for parts.
Motor Coverage Details: We provide parts and labor coverage for the first two (2) years; after year two, motor parts are covered and labor is provided at a reasonable service rate.
INSTALLATION / LABOR
Workmanship performed by Home Direct Blinds is warranted against defects for five (5) years. This includes adjustments and reinstallation required due to defective initial workmanship.
WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER (EXCLUSIONS)
This warranty does not cover:

LIMITATION OF REMEDY & LIABILITY
Our sole obligation under this warranty is repair or replacement. We will not be liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages. Liability is limited to the original purchase price or the cost of repair/replacement.
TRANSFERABILITY
This warranty is issued to the original purchaser and is non-transferable, unless explicitly approved in writing by Home Direct Blinds.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES / MAINTENANCE
Customer must keep proof of purchase, operate products properly, maintain cleanliness, and promptly report defects. Regular cleaning and proper operation are required to maintain warranty coverage.
GOVERNING LAW
This warranty is interpreted under the laws of the state where installation occurred.
